A clear path to becoming a Registered Auditor in Ireland
Are
you already a Qualified Accountant but want more? Becoming a Registered
Auditor will allow you to:
To receive a Higher Diploma in Audit Practice and Assurance Services you must complete the following subjects - Audit and Assurance Theory, Audit and Assurance Practice, Auditing in an Information Technology Environment, and Internal and External Audit in the Public Sector. You can achieve this qualification in one year. Holders of the HD (Audit) can qualify for an Audit Practice Certificate from the IIPA once they meet the experience requirements.

The first step in your career in finance
Your entry into the world of Professional Accounting begins with becoming an Incorporated Public Accounting Technician (IPAT). To qualify as an IPAT you must complete the following modules:
Qualified Incorporated Public Accounting Technicians have a range of career choices, including working in an Accounting Practice, working in the Finance Department of a business or Government body, financial institutions and as a key financial professional in small busineses.
Qualifying as an IPAT would also provide a fantastic grounding in the skills required to run your own business.
